Candle Care Instructions
Wick Maintenance
Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use. This helps reduce smoke, promotes an even flame, and supports a longer-lasting burn.
First Burn
Allow the candle to burn for 2–3 hours on the first use, or until the entire surface has melted. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures consistent performance.
Burning Guidelines
- Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Keep away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects.
- Do not leave unattended while burning.
- Follow the 2-foot rule: maintain a safe distance from other items.
Extinguishing
Use a snuffer or dip the wick into melted wax to extinguish. Avoid blowing out the flame to minimize smoke.
End-of-Life Safety
Stop use when 1/2 inch of wax remains. Do not burn to the bottom to avoid overheating the container.
Jar Reuse
After use, clean the container with warm soapy water. It may be repurposed for storage or décor.
General Safety
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Do not burn near flammable materials.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Allow the jar to cool before handling.
- Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
- Keep wax pool free of debris.
- Store candles away from direct sunlight or high heat.
- Always ensure an even melt pool during use.
